-To be as effective as possible, a paragraph should contain each of the following: Unity, Coherence, A Topic Sentence, and Adequate Development.

-Two very important elements of paragraphing are signposts and transitions. Signposts are internal aids to assist readers; they usually consist of several sentences or a paragraph outlining what the article has covered and where the article will be going.

Transitions are usually one or several sentences that "transition" from one idea to the next. Transitions can be used at the end of most paragraphs to help the paragraphs flow one into the next.

Interview with mike

So Mike's topic for the paper is the telescope.
The structure of his paper will be an introduction, followed by body paragraphs that talk about:
-How the ideas of the universe have progressed from the invention of the telescope until today
-The science behind how telescopes work
-Future potential of the telescope
-The importance of the Hubble telescope

Some of the accomplishments that will be included in the paper include:
-helped research other planets, for example finding ice on mars
-help see asteroids which could potentially hit the planet
-help understand the formation of the universe
